Dasho Sherub Tenzin

Dasho Sherub Tenzin, 63, holds a BA (Hons) degree from St. Joseph’s College, Darjeeling, West Bengal, India. He served the Royal Government of Bhutan from 1st September 1974 till 31st December 2012, spanning over a period of 38 years of credible and meritorious service to the King, Country and the People of Bhutan. Dasho Sherub served the government in various capacities and positions such as the Information Officer in the Depatment of Information (Kuensel); Development Officer, Lhuentshe; Dzongdag Wogma (Deputy Governor), Zhemgang; Dy. Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs; Director of the first ever established Natural Resources Training Institute and now upgraded as the college of Natural Resources at Lobesa: Dzongdag (Governor) of Zhemgang, Paro, Trashigan; the Cabinet Secretary to the Royal Government, and then as the Ambassador of Bhutan to the State of Kuwait. Dasho Sherub has a wide range of experience, most notably, in the areas of public administration and management; culture & religion; government policies; development plans and programmes; good governance; diplomacy & protocol; and project management and implementation.
